Best Barns Pinewood 14×28 Wood Storage Shed Kit

The Pinewood 14×28 wood garage kit has it all including 2 overhead storage lofts, swing open doors with transom windows, 2 fully functional windows and an extra 9-lite standard door for extra entryway! This extra large building can be used as a single car garage as well as a storage shed to meet all your extra storage needs! Need a tall shed that you can work in or walk around in easily? This shed provides 8′ 1″ sidewalls with 7′ 6″ of clearance to the ceiling beams on the first floor. The second floor loft on each side of the building are also strong enough to walk on and offers 6′ 2″ of clearance at the center. The second floor lofts are separated by a 32″ – 48″ opening in the center that can easily be accessed with a ladder supplied by customer / not included. *Not a pole building

What’s included? Two 24×36 inch windows, one 32×80 inch 9-Lite standard door and swing open 8’W x 7’H carriage style doors with transom windows are included. Siding provided is L.P. Smartside siding is tongue and groove and is primed ready to paint customer supplied finishing coats.

What’s not included? Paint purchased separately. Shingles, drip edge, ridge vent and felt paper purchased separately. Foundation and flooring provided by customer.

Flooring is not included with this kit. Build a foundation type that fits your specific needs. Our assembly manual will guide you through the process of creating an appropriate foundation including options of concrete slab, basement or post and beam wood floor options. Use your specific building requirements and local building codes to guide you to the perfect solution for your floor and foundation. Whichever you choose the most important thing to remember is make it level.

• Trusses are shipped pre-cut for precise assembly
• Trusses are built with 2×6 studs and positioned 24 inches on center

Extra Loft Storage Area:

• Two 2nd floor storage lofts / one on either end
• 6′ 2″ headroom clearance
• 5/8″ structure wood loft flooring
• 2×8 loft floor joists 16 inches on center
• stairs or ladder to lofts are not included

All required hardware included: door hinges, latch, trusses, nails, glue for gussets and detailed instruction manual included. Paint, shingles and roof edge are provided by owner / not included.

Flooring Information: The floor and foundation are not included and provided by the customer. This is a very large building and the type of foundation may be dictated by your local building codes. Both wood and concrete slab constructions are appropriate for this building size. Consider the intended use of your building when deciding on the best foundation to meet your needs.

Two single hung windows 24″ x 36″ aluminum windows included!

Windows provide natural light and quick ventilation when needed. Windows are fully functional with lockable frames. Included screens keep insects out.

The included side entry door gives you easy access! Door includes an aluminum threshold and lock set. Door opens swinging inside the barn.

The regular Best Barns brand, not marked ALL Pre-Cut, offers you added savings for just an extra 2 or 3 hours of installation time. With a regular Best Barn you will get two deliveries; one will be your shed kit and a second delivery will be the siding, roof sheathing and loft (if included in the kit) which will be delivered separately from your local home center. Home Depot will be the home center we use if one is in your area. The customer will then follow the simple instructions to make just straight cuts to prepare these items. The regular Best Barn shed makes it inexpensive and easy!
